A nylon cord for every purpose

We currently supply four main types of nylon rope, including:

    1. Braided ‘N’ cord

Just as the name suggests, this is a braided nylon cord, with a sturdy 16-plait construction. It’s available in various diameters (ranging from 1.5 – 5mm) and is sold on 132m and 500m spools. As a multi-purpose domestic rope, it’s most commonly used around the home for DIY purposes.

    1. Nylon starter cord

This particular nylon cord has either a red or blue flecked design and comes on large plastic reels of 100m. Thanks to its robust 4.5mm diameter, it is the perfect option for use as an engine starter cord – but also lends itself well to a range of other heavy-duty and industrial applications.

    1. Nylon paracord

Made from braided polyamide, this khaki green nylon paracord boasts a tough 24-strand construction – yet it has no core. As a result, it is both strong and flexible. It’s sold in a number of diameters (i.e. 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm and 6mm) and is available in both 100 and 200m reels.

    1. 8-strand nylon cord

Lastly, we also have 8-strand nylon cord, which is sold by the metre to meet your exact requirements. This is sometimes referred to as multi-plait or octo-plait nylon cord. It’s available in 10mm, 12mm and 14mm diameters and is most typically employed as mooring or anchor rope.

All of our nylon cords are manufactured in Europe – and, as such, they conform to EN ISO 1140 standards and are of an exceptional quality. They also boast a wide range of impressive properties (e.g. excellent shock absorbency, resistance to UV and abrasion, high melting point of 215°C, durability). Yet, despite this, they’re still available here for a very competitive price.
